This is the new goal of the RFA:
To bring together the contractors of this association to better the industry, the workplace, the quality of installations and the welfare of employees, and to make our business more profitable.
One of our first strategies to fulfill that mission is to become a preferred resource for the local construction industry.
We all know that when the local construction industry succeeds, we succeed. So, to help members demonstrate their value to local construction firms, win bids and stay profitable, the RFA is using its resources to keep members current on valuable information and programs.
One of those resources is this website www.rfa-pade.org. Visit often for the latest on industry issues, opportunities and information on RFA news, activities, and upcoming meetings where you’ll hear about emerging technologies, programs and ways to grow your business.
A lot of that information will come from our new committees, introduced to help us get more accomplished and keep ideas fresh. These committees and their teams will research issues that face us as flooring contractors and develop new ideas to help members grow.
RFA also has been an energetic proponent of training, which is why we support INSTALL, the only four-year, flooring industry-endorsed training, marketing and certification program in North America.
Since 2000, INSTALL has been a resounding success. Everyone – from mill representatives to skilled labor to customers – is giving the results the “thumbs-up”. Most important, INSTALL is helping contractors win new business. (Find out more at www.INSTALLfloors.org.)
It just goes to show you what people can accomplish when they work together. That’s our goal – to bring contractors together for the betterment of the industry. We hope you’ll join us – on this website, on a committee, and as members of RFA – to make that goal a reality.
Please feel free to contact the RFA at 267-708-7600 or any board member with any thoughts, suggestions or questions.
